East Jefferson

Originally planed in 1805, East Jefferson is one of five major avenues in Detroit that extend transportation along the Detroit river. Beginning in 2009, more than $1 billion has been invested in the area.  East Jefferson Avenue is the major road, traveling into downtown Detroit, just a block away from the now famous Detroit River Walk, a boardwalk style attraction located on the Detroit River.
